If you're genuinely asking, it's the latest high def format which includes the latest Dolby ATMOS sound format which provides height information.
I know what the format is. I thought he was talking about a streaming service of some sort.

Never heard anyone speak like that or say "I watched in 4k, I don't know if it's on Netflix yet" (especially given the fact that Netflix streams in 4K itself)

Anyway it seems I will never know where he watched it hahahahaha I will go ahead and assume he paid for a download with some service or bought/rented a Bluray.

for the AV nerds we say 4k to separate the difference between blu ray and 4k so that's what I meant lol! tho Netflix and a few other streams will display in 4k I believe you would have to watch in on 4k disk if you want the audio codecs as well

A prequel would be interesting as well. I wanna see how Brolin and Del Toro met and what led up to the first one.

Haven't seen the sequel yet, but Benicio del Toro was just brilliant in Sicario imo. I think the first time I saw del Toro was in The Usual Suspects (which remains high in my top 10 list) and he was brilliant in that as well. If you don't remember him in Suspects, that probably proves the quality of his acting. He played 'Fenster'.
