Way back in the day30 + years ago we used to do the correction factors manually with graphs.Yes at least we can get 94 octane, but then we have snow for 4 1/2 months a year

I was listening to the downshifts thinking you had a DCT, but now I see you have a 6MT

healthier than your runs, even though you have an ECU upgrade and he doesnt?

and you only buy 91 or you can only get 91? Whenever I go to the states (admittedly usually NY or PA) their "premium" is 93...only one gas station in canada does 94 (sunoco) the rest are max 91 (exxon used to do 92, but dropped to 91)

Can SlammedM3's healthier run be attributed to the scoops he's running as well?

i dont know if scoops do AS much on a dyno, more effective on the highway I'd think with the air being forced in....

We only get 91 in California. Damn CARB and all those green weenies in Cali.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I would have liked to see a stock dyno for comparative purposes. My e46 M3 and 2 others owned by friends of mine (that had VINs within 100 of eachother) were somewhat factory freaks. I matched up against numerous other e46 M3s from a roll and always pulled (even if I had a passenger).

So, I'd be anxious to see whether or not his base power is better than average vs. assuming that his relatively "minimal" modding gave him an additional 25-35rwhp.
