Any Challenge Exhaust reviews?
Before I get blasted.... I did search TITLES for anything "challenge". I did not see any reviews. Only videos.
That said, I am interested in this exhaust, but wanted to know if it drones? I think it sounds awesome but the videos Ive seen show it mated with an aftermarket x pipe. Does anyone on this forum have the exhaust mated with the stock X pipe? Any drone issues? Or does anyone have it with the challenge x pipe that allows you to use your stock CATs? Any reviews of said exhaust would be appreciated. Thanks!

You likely wont yet find any reviews as this system was just offered on the market this week. But We'll ask any that pick one up to report back. Another local guy is supposed to get one soon as well. |

Here is a new video from today with the Challenge Rear Section Exhaust with stock X pipe.
I also recorded decibel readings for numerous situations. If we are able to get our hands on a stock M3 this week, ill get some stock baseline levels for you. All of the levels are very reasonable on this exhaust All db readings were done at the industry/legal standard outside of the car: Outside 4,000 RPM: 84db 5,500 RPM: 87db 7,000 RPM: 91db In car 30 MPH Cruising: 53db 65 MPH Cruising: 68db 75 MPH Cruising: 71db Full throttle 0-60: 71db max |

Sounds very tame. I think I heard a whistle tip too? Seriously... Not a Bub rub whistle either. I heard it twice too!
Looks great, but I think it's way to quiet for my taste. Thanks for posting.

The goal was to make a nice sounding exhaust with no drone which is no easy task. I think it sounds best with the full exhaust myself . Its just the equipment on the higher pitch sound. The internal mic on the cam so it can get blown out pretty easy unfortunately. The second clip with a higher model camera didnt record the same noise. We have a few other clips with the same camera

I have the Street X-pipe with the Rear section. Had it for a about 6 months now. Very happy with the sound and also the build quality. It is on the quiet side when just plugging around town, which to be honest is a good thing. Most people think they want this loud nasty exhaust until they have to live with it day to day (my opinion anyway). If you're still thinking about it and want me to pass on any more info, just let me know. Nice exhaust, specially for the price.
