I hate the word "good"..it doesnt tell me specific information. Well I was lucky enough to drive a GTR for a couple of days..and while its not as comfortable as the M as a daily driver it sure as heck makes it up on the track..well if im lucky I might own both one day :-))) ..dreams...

I'm just giving you a hard time about the ***hole thing. However, your coworkers have done some seriously stupid stuff. For instance, metered hours end at 7 and my ticket expires at 6:58. One of the stooges stood around and waited for that 2 minute window to write me a ticket. |

I was debating if I should have posted on this thread revealing my place of employment. .I wasn't going to..but I remembered that because of this job I own one of my dream cars at 24 ( did I mention my 2013 M3 is Jerez Black with carbon fiber roof, DCT - such a swweeet color) ;-) As far as your story about being cited at 6:58, sorry im not buying it..I know for a Fact that officers dont wait for the ticket to expire..I am NOT calling u a liar, all im saying is that it sounds like something I hear from people everyday.".I didnt pay because I was in there for 2 seconds.." Anyway, thanks for taking the time to respond to my post.. Happy Driving ///M |

sorry man, I strongly disagree. The 2012 GTR that I had the honor of driving was powerfull, instant throttle response, agile and the sound was exhilarating. . If I ever win a Veyron, I would sell it. I would keep my M3 buy a GTR and spend the rest of the money for gas :-)))) P.S - the GTR that u drove - did it have the race setting on instead of the comfort? That makes a big difference. .also was it brand new or broken in? Anyway, thanks for responding. Happy Driving ///M |

I paid for the 90 minute max but there was a 2 minute gap between when the ticket expired and the metered hours ended. I was written a ticket during that 2 minute gap. You can say "technically your guilty" all you want. But that is the epitome of an absurd ticket. I also have a close friend that got a a very similar ticket (I saw the citation and I believe his was 3 minutes). You're not the only one that hears lame excuses all day. Don't assume i'm just some goober that's pissed he got a ticket. I work for the court that processes all the tickets your write and I agree that 99% of the crap people say is garbage. I probably would have been skeptical it if it hadn't personally been me. But its also no surprise that parking enforcement gets a bad wrap when such ridiculous things are cited. Its those instances that make your profession look bad. Its far to easy to leave a ticket on someones car and slink away without ever having to confront the person. Maybe you're one of the good ones. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are. But, working for the courts has given me more than enough reason to despise meter maids and cops. For every decent one there is, there are 2 more that make it their mission in life to ruin as many people's days as possible. Most of them will openly admit this when they're out of the public's earshot. Ugh.... off my soap box now I got carried away. |
