First time e92 M3 owner (Long time bimmerpost member)

Hi all. Been a member on the boards for quite some time now and after going through what seems like an endless amount of M cars (and other cars) The past and present cars list seems endless but just in the bmw family I've gone through a pair of e46 m3's, f80 m3, f87 m2, f10 m5, e60 m5, e92 335 and 328, an f31 wagon, and an f15 x5. After what seemed like ages I finally found my first e92 M3, perfectly optioned, unmolested, priced decent, and local. Anyway here are a few photos from when I picked up the car today. Its a one owner car. I believe he traded it in for a 530e from what the sales guy told me. 2013, 45k miles, comp package, 6MT, manual leather seats.

Man...great find!

How do you like it so far after going through all those BMWs (including the newer F8X)?

+1 I was going to ask specifically about the F87 M2. Any comparisons?

Looks super clean. Enjoy it.

I've only managed to get a short feel for it on the drive home, but it has such an old school feel after comparing it to newer BMW's. I still love the F8x gen cars, and will probably have one in the near future. They're just such great do it all cars. Comfortable to daily, great driving position, ridiculous power to keep you entertained. Maybe a slight bit lacking in the personality department but that really depends on the person =]

Welcom aboard, car looks awesome!
What made you leave the F8x for the E92?

Quite shocked myself. Previous owner must have been very light lol

I wanted something a little more "special" feeling. While I loved the f80 and it was a great all around car it lacked a little character and felt a little numb.

The manual seats?! Any benefit to those over the full electronic seats? Just curious, since I didn't know they offered them for the E9x's

I think they're supposed to be lighter? But could be wrong about that. I have heard people mention that they sit a tad lower than the electric seats. I've seen several manual cloth seats but this is the first time i've seen it in leather
