What do you drive in winter?

I just picked up my new 2012 E92 M3 and so far I'm loving it. I hate to think about the cold already but I was wondering if you guys drive your M3 in the winter? If not, what's your winter car?

I'm contemplating if I should get a winter beater or just enjoy the M3 all year around? In the GTA winters aren't actually that bad. Before my M3 I had a 335i coupe and I drove that all year around with a good set of winter rubber and never had any issues.

Company vehicle that I drive most days and during the winter. If I did not have the luxury of having a 3rd vehicle,I would drive my M in the winter. My wife's 335is is driven year round with no issues in the winter.

My winter beater; a 1999 Honda CRV. I would never dream of driving the M3 in our Calgary winters, although it is done by many others, and from what I understand, the car is quite capable of.

When one only has one car then he/she must adapt it to winter driving. 235/40/18 all around on an 8" square set-up, this car is beast. No issues whatsoever, and people are saying we didn't really have a bad winter but the worst days were really some of the worst I've seen. This year I am upgrading to a second car though, so this thing will probably be off to iND for a couple months in dead winter.

I've driven my M3 for three winters now and it handles the snow just fine with proper winter tires. It is a bit low, so on days with heavy snow, you may want to take the bus...

E9x M3 is definitely fine for winter driving. Good set of snows and your good. Especially in Toronto. Drove my previous E90 M3 through a few winters without any issues.

I drive my 2009 E92 M3 everyday. I don't think I could stand driving around in anything less for 5-6 months.

In the end, I know I am only going to own the car for 5 years or so. In the end, it's just a car and I want to enjoy it. But that's just me.

Daily-drive my M3 in the winter. It drives great. The only problem is when snow is too deep or ice blocks rip off the cardboard shield under the car.

A good set of snows, and some common sense will get you around most days in the M3!

Just picked up my winter wheels! Avant Garde 19" ZCP reps. Blizzaks LM-60 on order from Ben at TireRack.

I plan on driving this baby in winter!

For really bad days, deep snow, we will probably just share the 335i. It has a dedicated set of winter tires and rims and runs just fine in winter.

I drive this in snow an slush (our DD and my wife's car). Got all season Continental tires on all four corners they work just fine for this part of Southwestern Ontario. Naturally when the roads are dry I sneak out with my M3 to get the milk on the other side of town
