so i bought the kit and happy with it decided to hook the camera finally and i cant get it to have a signal. i followed the following youtube video

i noticed the last wire he connects he says brown and yellow mines is brown and purple i even tried the green and red and nothing. i wasnt going to touch brown just in case its a ground wire.

here are photos of my setup. i just reached out to the seller but doubt he can help. thanks i searched on google and the forums and cant find nothing. i would like to add in the video he dosent connect the red wire that cones out the video wire behind the monitor or use wire with the Chinese writing.

i connected directly to the battery minus the oem wire to unlock the trunk and nothing still. im starting to think i have a defective camera now.

Can you link the stereo? Is the camera correctly wired at the front?

At the front there should be a yellow rca rcam and positive wire rcam you should wire it up to.

the stereo works . i was thinking about that red wire as well. in the video he dosent connect it. should i just link it to my fuse where i got my radar detector connected?

Can you show how the reverse cam is wired up on the head unit?

on the head unit the yellow rca is in the dvr one . the red is not connected . i just bought some red wire and going to connect it to the fuse that has my radar connected to

There should be a RCAM RCA you connect it into. Also, you should connect the red wire of the cam into the RCAM positive wire. If you have a picture I can show you what to connect.

Edit: For example, this head unit you connect RCA into 6 and the positive wire into 16.

I believe you have your wiring backwards, this is supposed to go into the android headunit along with the positive wire.

nice picture. from what i saw the front red wire has to be connected to a 12v source. the back red connects to nothing am i correct?


my front red is currently not connected to nothing and the back red was going into the rear harness

Yes the front red connects to the radios RCAM 12v source and make sure the front RCA is in the radio's RCAM RCA.

The back red connects into the RED RCA cable and grounded onto a BROWN wire or any ground with a bolt.

this is the front connection the red i should connect to a fuse ? or to this cam power?

i just noticed there is a purple wire in the front label cam power

Connect the red cable with purple CAM PWR and the RCA shouldn't be in DVR, are there other options?

Are there extra RCA cables connected on the back of the actual CCC screen?

those are the only two rca . the rest are wires

There should definitely be more, are there more connections in the box? If I remember some connected to the rear of the CCC screen.

i got the red front connected to the purple cam power should i put the yellow back to dvr first and if it dosent work than try the ccd yellow?

i have no more connectors unless he didnt include them in the box once he responds ill have a better understanding if something missing
