can Gtechniq C5 be used on other parts besides wheels?

Anybody know if gtechniq c5 can be used on carbon fiber... paint... etc? have some left over from my wheels and would like to put it to use before it goes bad. Was thinking of applying it to some of my carbon fiber bits like diffuser, splitters, mirror caps, etc

I guess technically you can. Don't think it will give as good of a look but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It is similar to CSL and CSU, they're all made the same just slight differences to accommodate price and application location.

Thank you for your response. I assumed the same thing, technically can be applied to anything. I'm just not sure what kind of look it will give, if it might not be as shiny sure to the different chemical make up used for wheel application.

I would assume it is thicker (has more solids) to hold up to the heat, so just apply it thinly.

Just in case anyone wants an official answer... I spoke with Gtechniq and they confirmed that C5 can be used on more or less all body panels (carbon fiber included) without any negative side affects. They do not, however, suggest that it is used on exhausts. There's no issue using it but the heat will shorten the overall lifespan of the C5 considerably so it will need to be reapplied much more frequently.

She also mentioned the she recommends C5 for all motorcycles due to the exposed block/exhaust and high heat associated with them. The C5 will stand up much better long term in these conditions.

Lastly, she said that EXO can be layered on top to enhance gloss and shine and act as a sacrificial barrier to help the C5 last even longer.
