that's good that they are tight - you wouldn't want the rattling in there....
my front is tight I have to hammer them out, my rear is a bit easier and comes out just have to shimmy it out...

Stop grinding pads.

Change the abutment plates. There's two kinds. One is notched, one is flat. Each caliper has both kinds. One is flat, one is notched to keep the pad from rattling. It makes it a tight fit and is annoying AF.

You can buy them or take out the notched ones and flatten them a little.
