JGOENS job...guess around September when camps start rolling. I've got no pictures to start the year, some bum from Washington better post something cool. Mine was from the Great Wall and with the cup. One of them fans needs to beat it with something better.

looks like that core will stay in tact. Dubas just said in an interview he will be signing all 3

only way I see Dubas doing this is trading Kadri as they have too much depth at Center and paying a checking center that kind of money is alot and getting rid of marleau, hortons and lupuls contract. If he can do that, hes got tons of cap space to sign marner and auston next year and then give the young D a chance to play.

I don't know if Horton's contract or Lupul's will even be affecting the team next season. Once the season hits, they go on LTIR and our cap hit is mitigated, but it does impede what we can do during the off-season.

Kadri would be a logical trade choice, and I'm sure there would be a lot of interest, but you're right, Babcock will need a solid replacement option before he even lets Dubas and co. entertain the thought of packaging him in a trade...even if it does land them that coveted top-2 d-man.

Yeah, we're in off-season now..but apparently pretty heated around here. Yeah, we start up again right before the season starts. You guys feel free to continue the banter all summer--maybe we will have a more lively discussion when the season actually starts.

Right? What a terrible deal. He's a great goalie, but that contract, along with the PK for Weber trade signaled a downhill trend in the Habs organization. Hopefully they figure it out soon, because as much as I despise them, I'd like to see them be competitive at the very least.

Brayden Point would be my first target if I was the Sens. Doubt they'd give Hedman up, as I'm sure they'd want to pair those two together on the PP.
