I hear ya. I missed out by a couple days on a great deal here on the forum back in October and was kicking myself really hard for it. That's when I decided to get serious and start looking for a "special" deal on a "special" car. I checked forum classifieds, cars.com, autotrader, and ebay twice a day for 2 months. I found the special car pretty quick actually but the deal wasn't great enough for me to jump on it until a month and a half worth of price drops and haggling with the seller.

When purchased: December 2014
Year: 2008 Model: e92 Miles: 36k Color: Jet Black on Black Options: 19" wheels, premium package, leather, cold weather Transmission: 6MT Mods: Corsa exhaust, Fabspeed X pipe, AFE intake Not quite a "stripper" since it has leather but pretty much everything else is base (no Nav), exactly how I wanted it. I was looking for a sparkling graphite exterior but finding everything else along with it was like looking for a four leaf clover. MSRP: 63k Paid: 33k + tax Last edited by blueliner; 12-29-2014 at 12:28 PM.. |

Got it... wouldn't want to be doing any false advertising. I meant premium, not competition. I came over here from E46fanatics and I still have much to learn about this generation. Thanks for the heads up, original post edited.

Feel like I got a decent deal on the car since it has everything I wanted excepted heated seats but I dont drive it in the winter so don't really need them. But I love driving this beast the sound alone is great. |

I am pretty sure it's cat-back, looks like they only sell one version:
http://store.uucmotorwerks.com/corsa...ible-p681.aspx The car in the video on the manufacturer site is pretty darn close to the way my car sounds. This video is great too, I checked it out before I bought my car: Hard to describe but it has a very nice low roar - not very "raspy" and not super loud even under acceleration. There seems to be a plethora of great exhaust systems out there but I like this one because it's louder than stock but not screaming at you. It's quieter than the Flowmaster I had on my '93 Z28 Camaro. I originally thought I wanted an Eisenmann Race exhaust but this one was already installed and I like it so there it will stay. |

Thanks very much. Sounds like what I am looking for.
I have the TSE3 on my e46... Like it for the same reasons but was unsure of the e9x M3 version
