Thanks for the help. 80mm tips? What do you say? Do the tips stick out much farther than normal from the rear bumper? I have a diffuser which would offset this but, asking bc from that angle looks like they do.

I'll post a picture in here later, but with the tips and my diffuser, it sits perfectly and looks great.

May I ask why vacuum is preferred over electric? I understand vacuum is probably far more consistent, but is the electric that bad?

Electric motors tend to fail prematurely. On top of that, the actuation is very slow with the closing and opening of the valves. Vacuum uses pressure to close the valves instantaneously.

Doesn't the vacuum constantly open and close as you drive?

not at all it just builds vacuum pressure and is only open and close when you engage the valve.

Ahh I was thinking it works like a wastegate where is opens when full boost or in this case vacuum.

The vacuum system has a motor of its own that's wirelessly controlled via the controller. It only actuated when the on or off button is pressed.

im not sure on the exact measurement on the tips, but if you have a e92 you should be fine, its because mines e90.

The tips are adjustable but mine didn't "adjust" as far as I wanted lol diffuser absolutely helped with aesthetics. I'd for sure hate the looks without it. But tips can be changed so it's not that big of a deal

That'd be this muffler + catless X pipe. They usually have 2 resonators but I believe if you take those out then you'll have the loudest possible setup

Guys has anyone had any info on decibel levels of this with valved opened and closed?

Wanting to join the group buy buy decibels on a drive by and static would be important as I have noise restriction limits to meet for track days.

Forget about it if you wanna run it fully open on track days. With a catless xpipe you're going to be around 120db.

My eisenmann race with catless xpipe is close to that already.

There are very few valved mufflers out there with adjustable flaps for sound control
