6MT transmission fluid
Hi,
I have looked everywhere but I didn’t find my answer exactly. I replace the shift selector shaft soon, I will flush the oil at the same time. I have in my garage 2 kinds of oil: Redline 75w90 NS and Redline D6 ATF. I want to know if it ok to put the D6 or it better with the 75w90? I know people put D4 ATF but I just have D6 lol. Another question, I think it stupid but … For the seal, with the part number from the realoem, the same number part on Fcp euro, they said that part won’t fit on my car?? It an error or I should order anyway? Thank you again |

I would use either the RedLine MTL or the Redline ATF. Don't use the Redline NS gear lube as it's supposed to be intended for transmissions with diffs integrated-like the Subaru manual trans.
Make sure to run the 6MT oil drain/fill routine for the auxiliary oil pump to get the correct transmission oil fill level. I forgot about this and was off by about half a quart almost.
