I had BPMSport man Mike phone me - I am very grateful of another example of excellent customer service from Mike and BPMSport.

I bought BPMSport DCT tune and stage 2 for when I mod my exhaust.

Support BPMSport! I'm sorry I bought the Turner tune now, but I will talk to Mike about my options.

Hi,
I've stuffed up the ECU flashing process. I was attempting to install a Turner Stage 1 tune. I have backed up the old tune to a file successfully. Then I attempted to install the new base tune 240E as per the instructions, but it had a check sum error and wouldn't load.
I thought it might be a problem with the flash drive so I clicked on the tune file, which wasn't corrupted and immediately started overwriting and updating the tune.
It failed to complete and generated the ECU Communication error.

Now when I attempt the use the flashing tool supplied with the flash, it can't identify the CPU details, so I can't restore the old tune.

I'm stuck. I do have a Bimmergeeks cable but have not found anything to help me searching the forum so far.

Any help will truely be appreciated, otherwise feel free to laugh and point, you know I'm crying.

Did you have to send the ecu in or just did it remotely
