Wtb: 2008-2011 E90/E92 M3

I've been watching the for sale forum for 18 months looking for a nice E90 M3 and I've found a few but I'm not terribly comfortable buying a car without being able to drive it and having to ship it. I'm also pretty particular about packages and mods, etc. I do like a well modded car with exhaust, diffuser, front lip, springs, etc, etc.

I'd prefer something local to the northwest where I can travel to it to purchase it if possible. Not sure if anyone knows of any E90's for sale but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

Sounds like you are looking for a specific car. Considering there aren't a lot of M3's and especially E90's for sale in Washington, you might want to consider out of state and flying out there.

Yeah there seems to be a ton in Cali. I'll just have to find one there and fly down. The one I did find that I really liked was in Florida and I'm not driving 3k miles...

I am very specific and am not in a hurry, just thought I'd throw out a feeler.

Regarding the E92, if it's nice enough, I'd go E92 over E90. What you got?

You must not have been watching that closely. I had a prime specimen for sale Nov/Dec.

Nothing wrong with buying a car from Florida!

I only say that because that's where I found mine. I don't necessarily recommend it though, especially if you're patient enough to wait for something local. I gave up after searching for about a year and have been very happy with my florida car so far. My buying experience was awesome, my shipping experience was a nightmare.

with the miles, you could tack on a 3 year/36k warranty for ~3k also

This is a good idea as I have already spent more than that in my first year of ownership...under 40k miles...The joys of an M.

Wow, I am glad you didn't find mine. LOL. I just picked up my 08 E90 (Jerez) with 40k on it for about 3k under BB with all options included right over in Portland. It is in immaculate condition too. Good luck finding one though!
