Which tire to choose from?
Recent bought E92 M3. I don’t really like the Continental Tire on it.
I was thinking to purchase the Performance Tire or Run-Flats. Since there’s no spare tire in the car but I kinda want to purchase the Pilot SuoerSport since I heard so many good things about it. Suggestion? |

Which tire are you currently running?
Car doesn't come with run flats from the factory and for other reasons (price, performance, ride quality, etc) most here will say to avoid run flats. MPSS is a good tire, as is the replacement Michelin PS4S. I'd also look into continental extreme contact sport. |

Can't go wrong with Michelin. Conti's have kind of numb steering feel I've found. I don't like them. I tried Bridgestone S4 Pole Positions this time and I've been really impressed with them. Comparable to MPSS in my opinion, at least on the street, and for a decent amount less money too.

For the best street performance:
1) Michelin PS4S 2) Continental ECS or Michelin PSS. Continental Extreme Contact Sport and Michelin PSS have virtually identical performance, and given the lower cost of the ECS I would lean towards them.

Since this car is not my DD, I thought I can spend some money on a nice set of tires. Thanks for the input. |

I have the bridgestone before on my old BMW and it was not bad (run-flat and no headache) but since this M3 won't be a DD for me, I thought I can splurge a little on a sets of nice tires. THanks |

Avoid run-flats unless you're truly paranoid about being stranded somewhere. The ride quality is way worse. I ditched them on my car and am much happier.

Yeah, I had run flats because of of my old 328i but never really a fan of it. I paid of the road services and AAA so why not use it when i need them. This is why for my M3 i decided to get the best tire for the best ride.

To be honest, those were mediocre tires when they came out. Motortrend found over a second difference vs. the older Mich PS2 on a test vs. the Coyote 2011 Mustang.
