FS: 2009 S65 M3 Complete V8 and DCT $10k obo
I pulled my original 2009 s65 motor and DCT and replaced it with a 2010 donor. However, after tear down it was clearly and intentionally misdiagnosed with bottom end "issues" which it doesn't have and I was scammed. My loss your gain. Pics of the bearings and crank are below. The crank is pristine. Used donor motors alone go for about 13k. It includes harness to dct and includes AC and motor mounts etc. I took the bottom end apart and inspected all bearings which look amazing for 117k on it. The car ran fine then sputtered one day driving so I sent it to a shop that ended up scamming me. The donor motor in fact did the same thing at install and it turned out to be bad ignition grounds!! After inspection I reinstalled everything with a snap on torchangle tech wrench to factory spec per TIS including stretching the stock rod bolts 3 times and all. It should be a fine motor to just toss in once sorted. My friend wants the DCT so it's not available. All reasonable offers considered. Thanks!

No, I won't sell that low. I have had many offers for 4K for just the motor without the DCT and I can sell the DCT for like 1K. No one has come through with cash though. PM me. I think we can get a deal done.

I keep getting a lot of questions. Here are pics of the crank and bearings from inspection. unbelievable for the mileage. A testament to always warming it up and not driving it hard until up to temp.
Again, the motor and dct come with most everything with power steering and 2 AC compressors. One is the old one, one is the 2010 one but the front plastic got dinged in shipping. I'd swap the 09 front to the newer one if it was me and use that. It also comes with the oil cooler, one of the lines, upper intake plenum, harness and all shown. If it's a swap you wouldn't need anything but a couple of bolts perhaps.
