Hey Fellas Got A Problem...

I have been seeing this girl for about 6 months. I recently got my e90 about 3 months into dating her. I have been obsessed with the car (i.e. with mods and this forum). She constantly bitches at me for spending too much time chatting it up, reading threads on this website, and messing around with my car. I told her to stop bitching at me. She started yelling at me and walked out. What do you think I should do? About 1 week ago she called me and told me I had a choice: 1) I could either give this forum and my car a break (to use only in moderation) or 2) We could break up!

What do you guys think... Is she worth it...

And for those of you wondering... She is hot, but she bitches a lot!!!

Any advice would help... Thanks

It all depends if you like her...or just like doing her.


If she bitches about the forum and the car...then its all about compromise. She does need to have a certain amount of attention...all hot girls do. But, if you are going to try to be serious with her...she will only find other things to bitch about....as long as it takes her away from being in the spotlight. So, you gotta decide, can you deal with always putting her above all else?

While yes relationships should have compromise NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE takes my passion for various things in my life away from me.

I say take everything in moderation. I thought I was spending too much time here, and my gf asked to take it back a notch. I thought about it and I said, "Yeah, she's kinda right," so we compromised. Even gave up the boards all together for Lent (I'm not Catholic, but she is). But yeah... if she's at your throat about it... you gotta reassess and think... is she gonna be like this with other hobbies you might pick up or enjoy? Balance my friend... balance...

oh my suggestion, take a break from the forum and see how things go..if she bitches about everything like magmd said, then she's not worth it..but if she sincerely wants to spend more time with u, then do it

Well I just think it's pathetic that America today could be outside in the park, at the beach, eating at a restaurant, but instead they're sitting on their butts for 7 hours straight talking to people they'll never meet about useless nothing. Well I have no friends, no job, and my boyfriend was working 7-6. I've been taking 16 credits each semester, but that's nothing really. I'm taking 18 credits this summer and 19 in the fall (they won't let you take more than 20) so hopefully I'll make some friends. I'm just not really liking anyone I've met in Florida so far. They just want to drink and go clubbing. I want to play minigolf, go to the beach, play pool, but no one wants to do that. It's also hard for me because I get along much better with guys than girls but I have a boyfriend so any guys I meet basically ditch me when they find out I'm not single.

haha that's just wrong man. Picking on a girl is not cool, internet or not. She does have a point though. I've never heard of anyone spending so much time on E90post that his gf actually complained until now. The gf isnt trying to take E90post away from the OT. She only wanted him to cut down on it. I gotta admit though, this forums is more addictive than cigarrettes.
