The sky was clear & the sun was still out, time for a photo shoot

Changed to my summer wheels a few weeks ago, washed her last Saturday, naturally it had to rain for 2 days and the car was hiding in the garage

Today the sky was clear and the sun about to go down, so I took a short drive to Lake Erie (near Port Stanley, Ontario) to visit an old friend. The car looked so good in the evening light so I put the camera to work for a small photo shoot.

The last 3 pictures were taken about 15 minutes after the first 10 on the lake it shows how much the light affects the colour of this LMB car, the slightest change in daylight and the colour changes I love it.

Well it's the law with the reflectors, what can I do about them? change them to blue? or dark green? any ideas any pictures?

Just leave them. I think everyone gets too crazy about the damn reflectors. You can't see them when you're driving anyway, and obviously you don't care enough to break the law and change them so I'd say you're fine.

I think I'll take your advice I like to keep this car as much stock as possible, perhaps a light window tint like I had on my 2011 ///M3 that be all. If one modifies the car too much it will present problems on the re-sale.

We still have our first ever e28 purchased in 1987 it is all stock and still goes like hell it's a 535is just one step below the then ///M5 nearing 300,000 Miles now ... need to prepare for a 25 year Birthday bash in june for her

perhaps I'll take her to BMW for a spa ... nah I'll treat her myself that way I know she will be done proper

as I said she is all stock. Last year we installed new front fenders, a few years before front and rear bumper. She had one paint job in her life cycle it was necessary since some idiot in Toronto felt it necessary to key the car all around in 2004 when my daughter attended U of T. All aforementioned parts came from Germany, yes she is all stock and that is great.

My first experience with an E28 was my friend's 528e. Car drove like a rock!.

Thanks, ja there is no chance this car will ever be sold. My daughter turned down a new one some 8 years ago when she completed her 10 year long University track. Dad was going to get her a new one ... she said "Thanks bud no thanks dad, please fix this one up for me so I did " I would love to have it back and upgrade her for the track ... no chance in that ever. It is her baby, I do get to drive her here and then.

This car criss crossed America and Canada a few times, they don't build them like that anymore.

yep, they sure don't. Countless complains about the new cars; but that is not just BMW.
Your daughter is smart

I found myself in a sticky situation driving my friend's E28. Was driving on a road, missed the turn that I have to drive-up to my friend's house, hit the brake, little that I know that the car didn't have ABS, locked the brakes, span, and ended up in the middle of the road blocking traffic.
