The interesting this about this race shop, is that they've just finished mapping my friend's E92 which has the same setup but with the American Racing triple step headers. His engine made 477hp on the MAHA dyno last week, it'll be interesting to see what mine makes.

This isn't over, I have located someone nearby that tunes S65 race engines with Schrick cams. If my 2nd visit to Evolve is fruitless, I'll consult them. Imran at Evolve is a great guy and is going to spend way more time than I've paid him for to get a result, I'm sure he'll figure it out.

I may even swap the diffs back to remove that variance, I still have the standard diff in my garage, it won't take much to put it back. The reason for the rush is that I'm driving over to Germany for a Nordschleife track day on Thursday. After this I'll have more time.
Were the cams installed improperly or were the keyways cut wrong?

Schrick had a bunch of keyways cut wrong for BMW S motors. They did a great job of blaming installers and keeping it hidden as well. Keyways were 9-11 degrees off from Schrick.

They were supposed to remove the remaining stock, but many vendors got the old cams with keyways degreed wrong.

Just something to think about.

Not as yet. My car is now running a Syvecs ECU, but I am planning on getting the OE ECU mapped properly in the near future, then I'll go back to the baseline dyno for another power check.

What is your engine mod and how about Syvecs ECU?

Sort of.

Given up finding anyone over here in the UK that can map the car properly given the cams and the new final drive ratio. I don’t have downshift blips over 4th gear.

It seems Schmickler in Germany is the only place to guarantee success as they map the Schirmer cars which have similar mods. Of course, I need to resolve the current Vanos fault first, have a 2761 maximum-stop intake bank 2 error.

They do say that they get some power from them however, in an email today, I’ve replied asking for approx figures.

So this is a DCT issue, not so much a 6MT issue.

Yes, blips only affecting DCT.

I’ll update again once I’ve got something sorted, might be April when I’m doing Spa.

Contact Motorsport24, from what I have been told they have a cam tune.

IND can help on this as well.

Ask OE Motors for a proper DCT tune for the 3.62 final drive. It's like the GTS SW with adaption to the 3.62.
I got it on my car and love it

That's great news. Rev match and everything works fine? Where did you get the 3.62 and how much did the dct tune cost?

The numbers on the website. I had a nice conversation with them but was informed that they have to tune it on site. Good news for Socal people. Bad for East coasters like myself.
