Groovy. See you there! I'll be instructing Friday but not sure about running HPDE as well. I'm giving charity rides on Saturday/Sunday already, so four straight days of driving with a day of instructing in the middle may be a bit much....

Honestly that sounds like too much. I start getting exhausted around 3pm and for all intensive purposes I should stop driving then (and usually do). At two day events I always peel off early the second day. Fortunately these two days have an abbreviated second day.

I've done 3 full days in a row once. It is exhausting at the end, and I did back off the third day and just enjoyed myself and skipped the last session.

You definitely need the mental endurance as well, even more-so than the physical endurance.

We'll see. When I told my wife I was thinking of doing the Skip Day on the 16th, HPDE on the 17th, HPDE on the 18th with instructing and charity rides mixed in, she gave me that "you're fucking stupid" side-eye.

Nice! Are you racing at Dash for Kids? They are looking for drivers for noon-time charity rides if you will have your passenger seat in.

Looks like 25 cars Friday for HPDE solo, and 24 for Saturday. That'll be the biggest group on Saturday by far. Been averaging only 8 - 13 on the weekend sessions all year.

I'm instructing Friday and driving Saturday. Assuming the car isn't broken.

Hey there, PNW Track Junkies.

Cascade Sports Car Club, BMW ACA and Pro Drive have their schedules for PIR up on the PIR calendar. HOD is not on the PIR calendar yet, but they have tentative dates on their website.

Get to planning!

Working on trying to have a low financial commitment to specific dates as my father-in-law's health deteriorates. It looks like I'll be signing up late when I can (or not being able to go to filled-up events).

Life has its ups and downs... at least I did pick up a set of coilovers to improve the lean angle, to be installed in the next couple of weeks.

Has anyone run the new surface at PR yet? I'm thinking of taking my new (to me) 2011 M3 out for lunchtime lapping (assuming they still do that)

I'm instructing Thursday so am running in the instructor group.

Unless you steal an instructor dot for Thursday for that sweet, sweet, open passing zones.
