Don't mix 2 different things up...

1) The styling is really nice. I would totally buy that for a reasonable premium.

2) Asian prices for Bimmers are not relevant to reality.

please keep in mind the car cost is not 189$k it's the customs and tax that brings the price up. So it's not an option like you can take off. If you want to drive you must pay. In Asian countries this is common due to limited space and pollution, gov. trys to regulate by increasing taxes etc to keep common man from driving. If you can afford a Yugo in Singapore then in USA you can afford a BMW M3.

This was mentioned on page 1, not sure if China taxes are the same, but I am Cambodian and I know in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam...(southeast asia) cars get 100% tax upon entry. So a Toyota Camry is like $80k, Lexus LX570 $160K, so this M3 for $180K is like a bargain. Although, I 1000% agree that this is a ripoff, this special edition really isn't that special whoever buy these are caught in the effect of money power respect image kinda BS.

Can't they use some small font for tht big a$$ carbon edition on the front door. Looks like a kid's car. When I say kid, I mean a 5-6 year old.

I forgot about the taxes for bring the car into Asia. I didn't realize it was that much of a price difference compare to the US.

I assume there are no licence plates, even though front and rear licence plates are required in China, because the owner is a dick.

The excessive branding kills it for me. Even inside, I would rather have a little plaque, rather than a stick-on stencil on my dash. How obnoxious and RICEy as hell, which I suppose is par the course for China.

Plus, all that carbon fiber (including gills/grills, which look terrible in cf), but stock mirror covers? Epic fail.

Asian car prices are insane. Check out the cost of a Toyota Corolla in Singapore.

so basically, they paid 100k more for the CF parts! Wow! Its the only reason why it was sold in other countries other than the United States. Also, China are the ones that makes all these cheap ass CF parts, so they overpaid.
