Steering Cluster

Hoping i can get some help here... long story!
Fall of 2017 had a bunch of warning light pop up just before the car was due to be stored(living in Canada) figured it was my TA due (2008 E92 with 72KM).Thought i'd replace them in the spring no need too as i wasn't driving the car. Car didn't drive different only all the warning lights on the dash and idrive. I noticed that my signals wouldn't turn off after making a turn, sometimes the warning would disappear after a restart and other times it would just disappear while driving. Fast forward to the spring of 2018 take the car into my local German Specialist mechanic, and they come back with your steering Cluster needs to be changed. Apparently that's what was causing all my issues. I have never heard of anyone getting this done on there M before, in fact i searched the forum and couldn't find any thing discussing this issue.

Anyone else have to do this? if so does it matter if the cluster is from a DCT or MT?

Where in Canada are you? I have never heard of this either. Doesn't mean it may not be the fix but I would also wonder how the relation of the cluster solves the issue.

Can you obtain the specific fault codes, that would help a lot. The on screen faults posted doesn't really tell the whole story. Do you have a reader you can plug into your OBD to scan the car?

I've just been diagnosed with the same issue. My horn stopped working and they attribute it to this 61319123060 part.

Did you end up getting a new one?

How did the whole thing play out?
