Melbourne E90

Is this outrageous? It certainly is a niche type of car given that it is a slick top and no nav. I personally want navigation for the aesthetics of the dash, it simply looks better to me and what i am used to in my 328i. I have no preference of slick top vs sunroof.

But this is nearly 70k miles and listed at 37.5. EAG sold a couple red E90's over the summer for about 42-43k, both competitions and slick tops I believe and remembered those being around 22-25k miles. IMO those were steals given how rare red is for the E90.

This car is the only red E90 available to my knowledge at the moment, but I am really surprised to see this listed at 37.5k. Thoughts?

Saw that one in my search...certainly overpriced, given that FAR better examples have sold for similar.

Priced right cause someone will be able to offer 35k which is about what it's worth and everyone will be happy. The asking price isn't always about what it's worth, it's about setting the tone for the negotiations you're 100000000% going to get

Great points, seller has every right to get what they believe the car is worth. Definitely caught me by surprise.

The continual banter on here about value, rarity, etc. is bringing the cars out for sale to try to take advantage of the opportunity to possibly get top dollar! I will admit that the E90 is one of the coolest 4 doors ever, but I have no desire to own a 4 door of any kind EVER!

I always have wanted a coupe. But lately I have been drawn to the looks of the sedan along with the practicality.

However by the looks of the market, there is always a great selection of coupes. That may be the route I ultimately end up going. I would be happy either way in the end.

I asked this question recently and it seems there is a way to use M Drive without Nav, although you are limited in the permutations

coming from an interlagos ZCP/manual/no nav owner, I would pay that and would not sell for a penny less if I had that mileage (my mileage is lower).

it's a niche color and build that demands a special buyer; not for the average e90 buyer.

I guess I'm in luck since my ideal E90 would be with Nav, and +/- sunroof. It's just the Melbourne Red that will make it difficult for me.

I'll just have to be patient

This one EAG had last summer truly was ideal, I even was able to check it out in person on a road trip through Ohio. Just wasn't able to afford it at the time. I actually liked the two tone interior as well.

It was sold for 43k I believe and 22k miles. Slick top, DCT, Nav and carbon trim.

The market for these cars is interesting. I bought my MR E90 in August of 2016. Literally two days after buying it, the one that ended up at EAG showed up on my local craigslist. I think the guy wanted $39k for it. I remember thinking "what the heck, I bought this rare car and literally the exact same car popped up the next day".

It was gone within a few days and of then I saw it on EAG at I believe $48k?? I didn't realize it ended up going for $43k at the end, which is still quite high but not quite as exorbitant.

Since then, it seems like there is always at least one or two for sale in the country but the stars really need to align for a local sale.

I saw the 22k mike E90 before EAG bought it. I missed it at $37k and they relisted it around $50k.

Wow, that is crazy.

I guess the goal is to find it before EAG. But in meeting the team, they definitely do thorough history and inspection before re-listing. 37k was a steal

While I am frustrated when I miss these cars, Eric and his team do quality work and deserve recognition. They have become a major player in the game.

I love the exterior and interior colors individually but when they're combined it's just too much red.

I'd say price is a little high given mileage and condition but then again someone might pay it for that spec.
