M3 Convertible Ad at Laguardia Airport

Was flying in and out of NY yesterday and noticed the first ad I've seen for a M3 convertible. Sorry about the blurry iPhone camera, apparently I had a bit too much caffeine yesterday.

Anyone going to the NY Auto Show? I have a co-worker there this week and he is coming back with a bunch of pictures of the M3 convertible for me. I'll post them when I get them.

I feel as if the M3 Cabriolet is not going to sell well. Why? The additional weight combined with the additional cost and fuel consumption leads me to believe that most will opt for a more economical 335i convertible instead.

Is there really a significant performance boost between an 335i and an M3, and do people who buy convertibles place a priority on the performance boost?

Again, speculation. I could be wrong.

Very clever ad. Is the color Interlagos Blue or Jerez Black?

Everytime I open my Motor Trend or Automobile magazine there is an E90 M3 two-page ad.

You are correct. My bad (not very familiar with the new M3 colors. Didn't realize JzB was actually a dark metallic blue color.)

Saw the same ad at JFK yesterday. The interior looked like Saddle brown - does this mean that the vert has different interior options?

The very first page of GQ this month (featuring none other than Eric Bana himself) has a two page coupe ad - they use the head on picture of the coupe
