anyone had their leather dyed or sprayed?

for anyone who's had their novillo/merino/nappa leather dyed or sprayed to another color. iam curious if the the dye or paint adhered well to the stitch threading?

I had it done before. Looked perfect.
On novillo. Didn't have any dye rub off or transfer for 2 years. But I've seen horrible jobs. Just make sure you use someone good.

any idea what brand dye they used? and if they rubbed it on or sprayed it? with or without primer? (i have compressor,dryer and gun to spray)

Spray gun. No primer. Some light sanding and alcohol rub down. Dried for 6 hours. It was ready for my hour drive home, had a white tee on no transfer. They taped off everything but after a week be prepared to detail your car again, overspray city lol. If I did it again I'd remove seats.
