Maybe the title of this thread should be ADV.1 Stillborns.

I'm sure I will catch flak about this, but in my opinion you guys design/sell etc some badass wheels!
Yes, there was a mishap, shit happens. That's why they invented toilet paper. Hopefully that incident has only allowed you guys to make sure something like that does not happen again. Hell, I would feel more confident in buying or installing ADV.1's on my car/customer cars now than before there were any issues. Hopefully you guys have learned from this and have used this as a tool to continue pumping out some serious wheels! Best of luck to you guys and keep up the good work! ADV makes some very nice looking wheels. That being said, I would not run them for free due to safety concerns.
The people in this thread saying a couple of screw ups out of hundreds of wheels is acceptable are missing the point. Sometimes very well-made wheels fail, yes. But the problem is that the twice drilled 3 piece wheels were very poorly made, AND ADV tried to defend its poor decision to ship the wheels out by claiming it was for weight savings etc. There is a huge difference between one BBS out of thousands failing on track due to repeated stress etc. and ADV shipping out wheels that look like they were cut by a drunk guy operating a CNC machine. |

The false TUV certification was an "accident?" PLEASE. The fool above can ride your wheels. Good luck to him, but there's NO WAY IN HELL I'd EVER ride your wheels now. Even if they were JWL/VIA/TUV certified and FREE. There's a reason why ADV.1 is not allowed on 6Speed, where they used to gobble up every word 360Forged said, and drooled over their wheels. They even locked a thread I started warning people there about these failed wheels because they don't allow ANY MENTION of ADV there. Even a thread warning others about this company. Same old 360 Forged crap, just a different name. I wasn't going to say anything until you chime in with this "accident" BS. My keyboard is barely working now with how hard I'm typing!!! .

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Depends if you want them pre-cracked
Or if you want to crack them yourself

Post some weights for these wheels. I hear the ubersexual expensive Trak Specs are ubersexual heavy...like 35lbs heavy. Pleaae post. Also, are these wheels desctuctive tested or only FEA teates? These are very important points.
