It better come with an updated engine! That engine recall really hurt the RX-8's image. I make sure to make fun of my friend every time I see him :P

Why do they bother? My local dealer still has 2007 models with 0 miles on them on the lot. Impossible to sell even at 10K off. Waste of a car.

Meh. This car needs an engine overhaul more than a facelift. Really needs a turbo or two...except the current Renesis engine apparently isn't very tuner or turbo friendly.

If the Mazda RX-8 was priced a little higher but came from the factory with turbos and about 300hp (which is totally doable IMO) then it would sell like hotcakes!

I don't know if I like the new front more than the current one. I really like the way the current front bumper dips at the lower ends on each side. What I do like more for sure are the taillights. They're not very clean looking, but almost anything can be an improvement upon the current version's.

I'm starting to doubt it myself now. I'm not to sure of the front end or the side vents! But you are so right about the rear lights, I love them. The rear bodywork in general seems to be an improvement.

I'd definitely buy it if it had 300-350hp. One of the best cars dynamically produced in quite some time.

Needs a 3 rotor to make enough power NA. Maybe next generation.

bleh, boring. The RX-8 has been relegated to a chick car. No torque, gaudy styling, oil burner engine.

Save a bunch of money and buy a honda civic si.

Friend has one, floods all the time at 32F.
