Here is my 2009 E92 M3 DCT.(102k miles)I have had zero issues with the car. Has a rebuilt because of previous owner. Looking at this car you wouldn’t believe it has anything above 60k miles. I am absolutely in love with this car and this platform is so fun. I just want to get into a 6MT, I miss my manual so bad.

•Valved Exhaust
•Stage 2 Evolve Tune - GTS Tune
•Carbon diffuser, PMS style lip, etc
•Rod bearings and motor mounts done at 98k miles w/receipts from MRF Engineering
•Only ever seen liquimolly 10w-60
•Alcantara steering wheel
•Working cup holders!!
•Premium Sound system

Car taken very well care of and in amazing condition for it’s mileage!! Lmk if you have any questions 🙂PM or text me - (949)359-1214

You mentioned the RB mileage but not the actual mileage of the car just a heads up.

Price it as you will, but just be prepared for offers significantly below your asking price. This car with a clean title and 6mt still wouldn't fetch your asking.

Nonetheless, GLWS.

I'm not that guy... But I'm going to be that guy.

Is the asking price right? All are welcome to ask as they want, but the price shown is often more than a clean title car with less miles.

What is the reason for the rebuilt title?

It’s all good. I understand the concern. I bought that car at 95k miles when it was listed for 36k. Car got tboned I believe a while ago and was professionally rebuilt.

I’m just testing the waters to see what I can get because I really want to get into the S55 platform🙂

Clean cars with 100k miles are going for 25k maybe.

Haircut additional 20-30% for salvage.

it is not that market died off but you are asking a price for clean title car when the car has a rebuilt title. No matter how clean it is right now after the fix, the car has rebuilt title and that will distinguish it from clean title cars.

Ya i know, it’s just crazy. I looked 5 months ago when i bought this car and even with the mileage they were still going for at least 28k.

That’s for a clean titled car. Once you hit 100k miles on these cars the bottom falls out of their value. Then yours is hamstrung by having been tboned which is NOT a minor accident. Good luck.

This car is not best suited for 6MT. If you really want a manual car, you should go after another model/brand (e.g. 997/991)

really, i heard a lot of people love the 6mt. but overall ive read that the dct is just made for this car and since driving it i totally agree.

Without modifications the actual shifter and clutch feel of this car are terrible compared to other performance oriented cars. Even my Subaru has a better stock shifting feel. You’re not missing out much on that experience unless you just have to have MT. Every manual BMW I’ve driven has mushy rubbery shifting and a light/vague clutch.

The e9x m3 6spd MT is nothing to get excited about. I'd certainly take it any day over a DCT, but relative to other manual gearboxes, it is not great.... and that is being kind.
