I just installed the BK system in my car with Cobra Suzuka Pro GT (wide) seats. I utilized their side mounts, sub strap mount as well as their clip-in lap belt mounts. I'm very impressed. It's magical to utilize an OE slider. It is just so smooth. Everything is well thought out and went in with a reasonable amount of effort.

For anyone who saw this and thought damn, wish they made something for bottom-mounts like the Sportster, there's this:

So I'm down to the final bolt to disconnect the OE seat rails but don't have a tool that fits in to get this 19mm bolt out, any suggestions? Had better access on the other rail.

I would suggest securing a 19mm thin flat wrench before attempting this, I couldn't find one but still got it done!

Over one hurdle and on to the next, the included wiring instructions are for an e46. Any idea which wires go to which e30 switch pins?

So I'm guessing yellow is ground since they are connected in the harness already, then green/purple must be for the other pin.
Then going into the harness, I'm guessing brown is ground red is power. We'll see!

I found these pinouts in another post for the main seat harnesses, looks like it will be fairly straightforward to find power and ground. Still not sure if I have the motor wiring correct though, thoughts appreciated!

Harness bar and passenger seat are in, feels great to be harnessed in to your own car! Driver seat in progress.

Just coded my car, followed the instructions in the earlier link in this thread. I also disabled my seat belt extenders following these instructions:

So I couldn't get the covered 19mm bolt off on the driver's seat, real mess. I ended up just repurposing my passenger rails on the driver's side until I can find a solution. I spent a ton of time on this particular bolt on both sides and can't recommend going this route right now for that reason. I might say just go for the fixed rails, they get you more helmet room anyway. Happy to discuss my issues further but wanted to get the warning out there before others dive in, hope to get something figured out for the passenger side but no rush.

Unless I am missing something I think you might need a special tool to get this bolt out correctly. I bought a thin 19mm wrench and that didn't cut it. I did get it out on the passenger side thankfully. Also, don't mean to knock Brey Kraus on this at all, their products have amazing quality and they are dealing with all kinds of seat configurations here, confident they or someone else will solve the issue with this particular bolt. Probably going to pick up one of their fixed seat bracket sets for the passenger side now, have electric sliders on driver's side at least!

So feeling a bit foolish right now but simply raising up the seat before disconnecting it may have given me access to this nut, doh! Have the OE seat in a million pieces now, so need to consider if I can get it all back together or not, probably not but I hope others will learn from my mistakes and have better luck here. All of these nuts/bolts are red loctited which makes it difficult also, easy if you have direct access of course.
