Happened about 5 miles from my house. They organized a 60 mile GTR run through the country. The car reportedly had $15k in damage from this. Hopefully the driver learned a lesson from this

Lucky he didnt hid anyone head on. Very lucky it was a GT-R and not something AWD or he probably wouldnt have saved it.

This is the exact reason why I do not go on these type of runs anymore. There is always some dumbass who thinks they are a much better driver than they are and they do stupid shit that puts others in danger. This is why I go to the track, where more than likely if someone is a dummy it will probably only effect them.

It could happen to you so I wouldn't say that; we all do things at times that we shouldn't and have to learn the hard way, just happy the driver was safe.

I agree. But I would have to say, if this gt-r driver didn't know the road (which obviously it didn't look like he did) that move was pretty stupid.

I definitely think he didn't know how high that incline really was.

+1. Not to mention he could have killed people at the traffic circle. Would be just desserts if the vid was forwarded to his insurance co so he has to struggle to pay the 15k at his end rather than the rest of seeing rising rates.

No, shit like this happens to idiots. I never feel bad for folks who kick the bucket doing these things. Natural selection...
