I was planning to pair the Eventuri plenum with the Arma elbow/airbox but was told by one of their distributors that Arma is no longer available to the US. I figured that combo would provide the loudest possible intake noise seeing as Arma is the only intake which replaces the entire stock airbox rather than just the lid.
Went with the Eventuri elbow instead.

Check the vendor section. There are some Black Friday specials.
Hi - just ordered from iND. Do I need a coupler, which I couldn't find on iND's site anyway, or does the plenum come with one to secure it to the elbow?
I have a Dinan intake.

Thanks

You don’t need anything. The plenum is a 1:1 replica of the oem plenum so your Dinan elbow will connect exactly as it did to the oem plenum.

Finally had the plenum installed. I blame work-related certs and cold weather for why it took so long.

All I can say, and as others have commented, this box sounds insanely good! It's almost unbelievable, especially at 5k RPMs+ and WOT, all hell breaks loose. Under normal driving, it's totally stealth which I absolutely love.

Zero fitment issues...though my master tech had to look twice and thought something was remiss with the install due to how loud it is! I had him do few hard pulls and drive by me and it's just as mean and raspy on the outside as it is inside the cabin where it drowns out the MPE V2 exhaust and, frankly, for the better!

For those that own this box, welcome to induction glory. To those with the factory box, you have no idea what you're missing!!

Yup! Plenum wasn’t cheap but it saved me from continuing to mess around with my exhaust setup. Previously I wanted more noise than what I got from just my Borla ATAK catback and so began experimenting with various exhaust combos. Once the plenum went on I stuck with my catback only setup as the sound from the intake is just too sublime to potentially drown out with a louder exhaust. Imo, a subtle to moderate exhaust sound out back teamed with a screaming intake roar up front is tough to beat. They just compliment one another so well. At startup/pulling away/down low, the exhaust burbles away giving off that nice V8 sound. Then, when you snap open the throttle bodies and the revs climb, the exhaust fades away and the induction noise kicks in. Really adds to the driving enjoyment and makes it special.

Couldn't have summarised it any better. As much as I enjoy the MPE, hearing the engine work in higher RPMs is a lot more satisfying.

BMW should have made these carbon boxes a factory option. We are fortunate to have good aftermarket options.

Just ordered mine with carbon lid and wanted to ask if anyone know what the heat rating for the plenum is? Considering the engine bay gets up in temperature when we are on long road trips or track days. In general carbon fiber can withstand high temps, just wanted to know if there are any datas. I was unable to find any on Eventuris website.

It is not something that Eventuri offer on their products.

The carbon material is the same as used in the Eventuri Intakes in which some cars (Audi RS3) has been tested up to 170 degrees c as one of the pipes sits very near the turbo exhaust manifold. Temperature is not an issue in an NA car like the M3.

The M3 test car that was used for development was mainly used on track over a 6 month period.

as an RS3 owner, I can attest to this. if it survives as an intake in the RS3 you won't have ANY issues on the m3

Would be nice to offer a matte or frozen finish on the carbon.

You can easily spray a matte clear coat on it. Any competent body shop should be able to do it for a couple hundred
