On another note, I got a few BMW posters. That M3/F1 acorn tree poster is my favorite one.

Hey derbo!

Where did you get your posters from?! I’ve been looking for that e90 acorn, tree poster online and can’t find it anywhere! Absolutely love that one.

Thanks!

I actually worked at a dealership during the e90 era (summer 05-12) so I had access to promotional posters that were being retired from the walls of the showroom offices. That collection you see there is now just sits behind the door at my parents. When I find the right house and move in, they will go in the garage or den.

I'm pretty happy with how it looks as it currently stands. 1/2" lower from ZCP/JDM M3 height.

I have!

I think the issue is the only real offerings from the factory that is readily available are the splitters. I personally don't like how they make the middle are look incomplete.

Then there are the other OE lips: GTS, GT4 and CRT. The OE lips are expensive and difficult to source a genuine one.

If I was the get a replica, the CRT is a huge contender being that it's the most street able. My driveway is already pretty tight at the current height so unless I move, the CRT is the main contender if I decided to move forward with a lip.

Yeah I feel the same about the splitters, looks incomplete.

I also feel the same about the CRT but makes the sides look incomplete haha, but I do think it would be nicer than splitters and it would match your car well!

I definitely have the same reservations about the CRT lip as you! It does look a little incomplete as well but slightly different from the way the splitters do. The CRT Lip adds to an area that is slightly higher than the rest of the bumper where the splitters add to the lower point. The reduction of clearance on the splitters while looking incomplete, just doesn't make sense to me.

The CRT in certain angles looks complete, and while others look incomplete. I'm still on the fence. No lip also looks so good so I'm not rushing into this decision.

You should check out status gruppe lip, probably best in clearance and might look more "complete" than CRT

I heard they have poor QA. I have not seen anyone post an install besides their own testing demo ones.

In regards to the rear diffuser, Metak, Vorsteiner, or RKP challenge would be my choice. With all these cf parts for the rear, I feel I need to balance the front first

The fake diffuser trend has made it to generic crossover Suv’s Which means it needs to die

The GTS splitter is the business but you need hydraulic lift pucks on the front struts or you’ll be annoyed imo. I would have done the CRT lip but again, the car is just barely not annoying to drive in real world alleys and streets - the minute the car annoys you to drive every day is the minute before you start thinking about selling don’t do that to yourself!

I agree!

The replica variants of the GTS are all sorts of shapes and variants, I'm not sure which one I want to break off my bumper first. 🤣

Make sure you try it out with the expensive carbon fiber version

Even porsche GT cars use ABS up there, but BMW folks want to put carbon on the front of their cars to smash? wtf guys you're not fooling anyone you're just trying to coordinate with the other parts of your car's CF outfit

For sure a perfect RKP CF $4k version!

Realistically, I wish someone make a poly/FRP GTS one again. You know like how the factory GTS is non-carbon fiber.

I might just end up with a POM performance GTSV1 lip for giggles.

Malek at MRF just came out with one. It's legit and most likely what I'd get if I had to replace my OEM GTS. I will say that my front lower splitter has taken some tough love over the past couple of years. It's sturdy and durable though.

I'll send you the link on IG, dooder.

I fear that the whole system will be more than 4 digits. Especially if ModeCarbon is selling just a CF piece for that kind of money. I hope he makes a non-CF version like the OE GTS...lol

Maybe you should buy it and ship the OE GTS to me

Derbo, after reading your nice thread now and then I suddenly realize: I need red BBS center caps like yours, on my ZCP rims. Have an AW E90 as well, think it looks stunning, funny I haven't thought about this lovely little detail before - thanks for the tips.

Ps. Yeah, aware you have proper BBS rims, but will go regardless. Also believe the ZCP are BBS manufactured should anyone argue..? Anyways, Ebay next.

I know for a fact 219M are made by BBS. I'm 99% positive the style 359 is not made by BBS and made by a company called KAG. If you remove your rim, you should see the KAG (or BBS if I'm wrong) stamped somewhere. E46 style 163 (CSL wheels) are made by BBS which probably causes the confusion.

FWIW, my BBS center caps are 72mm which is not the standard BMW 68mm center cap size.

Hey, thanks mate, you're certain its the 68mm I should have for the 359s?

Thx

Ps. Btw not the "BBS" mark as such Im after but the red touch that goes so nicely with the AW.
