Happens all the time bullet racing outta Canada also with cayman r race car and full team support wasn't that exciting. They sure liked to brag about how much they had into their car though. Lots of guys with more money than skills. I'm just a regular slow guy with decent car.

Two jack stands and a decent jack and the car is in the air. Easy peasy. Won't mess up your alignment at all. Ramps would be best as then you can double check that there isn't any preload in the end links. As long as you go to the full stiff holes or the full soft holes you'll be fine though.

The two additional are velcro'd to the front of the helmet so you can just tug for quick release. Simpson style.

But were they hans or hybrids (Simpson)?

i'm a slow guy with a slow car. might pick up new miata to be even slower.

After a while you get used to fancy track toys getting passed by competent drivers with 1/4 the power.

I remember years ago I lapped everyone in my group at a Mercedes Benz club event in a e30 325is and no one believed I had a stock m20b25 under the hood.

So true. That's one of the things I love about lap times, it exists outside of how much money you spend.

Driver mod can't be bought, even if seat time can be.

Seat time usually means speed though if your making an effort. Couple thousand laps at a track will do wonders.

Does anybody have experience with the smartycam? I have mine integrated with my solo dl but can't get the smartycam to show active throttle/brake data.

When I plug it into my computer and use race studio to try to transmit the configuration to the camera it says that no aim device is detected.

Any ideas? My software and firmware is up to date.
