Car wrapping in Melbourne

Hi all,

Has anyone here gotten a car wrapped in Melbourne? Looking to get my new work rig wrapped, and it's hard to pick a place.

Done poorly it can look crap at best and damage your car at worst, and none of them are cheap!

So yeah, any recommendations would be great

Wow! That's a nice red. More bold and less 'milky' than Melbourne red.

Oh that is amazing. Would I be able to ask how much it cost and how long it will last for?

$2200 will last up to 10 years, it's Avery Dennison brand. Matts and Chromes will have shorter life spans

Oh that has got me thinking... Didn't realise that is what the cost was, I thought it was around 5k! There are a couple of colours I would be interested in doing with the added bonus of protecting the paint for years to come.

Stupid question but i am guessing they dont wrap the door jams and engine bay?

Now to find a place in Sydney.

that guy's youtube vidz always shows his car as dark red, and he uses filters on his instagram pics. 3M's dragon fire red is a close match to avery's cardinal red, have to see the colour in person to know what it actually looks like.

chromes are in the 5K range, and no door jams and engine bay don't get wrapped.

Thanks for the info! I would be looking at doing some like a Laguna Seca Blue so should hopefully not cost in the 5k range! I am guessing not having a carbon roof wrapped would also save money?

All the quotes I've been getting for my Everest are in the $5k range

I love LSB, my E46 M3 was LSB.

Yes exactly that or Dakar Yellow.

As for the Everest costing 5K is that because there is a whole lot more care to do? Surely the price between WA and Sydney can’t be that much. Hell if it was I’d be cheaper to transport the car to WA!

I'm assuming it's the size, there's a lot of body to cover, though I'd expect it to be a bit simpler job than something like an E90. Surely for a standard off-the-roll colour the materials can't be too expensive.

The wrap plan is on the back-burner for the time being, got a few other things I'd rather spend the money on for my business.
