I just got my rod bearings done at GT Peace. They've been great with previous work on my car so I went with them. They had the BE bearings and ARP bolts and I provided my own motor mounts. I went with BW mounts. Price was pretty much similar as what has been mentioned. I had them replace my valve cover gaskets while my car was with them and ended up replacing the valve covers as well since they were pretty bad. My car has 97k miles. They had my car for about 4 days but I dropped it off and went out of town so it wasnt a big deal to me. Pretty happy with the work done so I wouldn't hesitate to go with them.

Just picked up my E92 M3 from GT Peace earlier, did BE Bearings and BE ARP Bolts. Freddy is awesome, very knowledgeable guy and reasonably priced shop. Had motor mounts, spark plugs and gaskets also done when car was in the air. 70 miles driven so far, everything seems good! They also have warranty on their work, however with parts it has to be bought through them to be eligible.

I just had VAC bearings with ARP bolts done at Induktion Motorsports up in Linthicum. Mileage was only 278xx and the 702/703s did not look good at all. Service and price were great even though I was their first for S65 bearing job

Update: I finally did get my RB and motor mounts replaced at RRT a few months ago at about 90k miles. Great service, was around $3200.
Huge relief because now each time I start the car I'm not cringing wondering "is this the day ...." I spin a bearing Quote:

How did the original bearing look? Had you ever sent oil samples in to Blackstone?
I will be doing mine in the spring. Not looking forward to that bill, but gotta do it.

They definitely showed wear, but nothing like I have seen looking the RB threads here on the forum. I also sent an oil sample to Blackstone at approximately 80k miles (it had 77k when I purchased it), and it passed with flying colors.
It had 90k at the time RB were done, so I probably was OK up past 100k, given: 1. It's originally an EAG car 2. Adult owners, garage kept, never raced or tracked 3. I meticulously warmed it up and kept the revs low until it at operating temp. But IMHO it was simply not worth the risk of waiting any longer. Paying $3k for a $35k car (in theory LOL) instead of $20k to replace the engine, it's a complete no brainer to just get them done. To your point, you simply gotta do it ... good luck!

Thanks for responding. Mine will be going in this Spring, its not worth the stress and possible giant hassle. I bought the car at 17K and am at 67K now, doing Blackstone tests every oil change and it gets good reports.
