Black TPMS valve stems from Tirerack

I had been searching for black TPMS sensors unsuccessfully for a month or so while waiting to buy tires for my black apex arc-8s.

Then over the weekend, I found that Tirerack offers black valve stems and caps for the beru setup. See attached pic for detail, but this saved me a step of having to half ass paint the silver ones black.

I don't have a part number, but the description on the invoice reads "Optional black valve stem and valve cap" - $ 2.99 each.

Just talk to Ben @ Tirerack. He will take care of you.

What are these things? Going to get new rubber tomorrow - assume I don't need to ask for one of these per tyre?

I am ordering tires tommorrow from tire rack. . Can I just order black valves or do I need to order the sensors also? Would it work on the OEM Beru sensors I already have for my 11' e92 m3

As the black stems and caps were a separate line item on the invoice, I believe you can order separately. Talk to Ben (ext 660) -- he'll sort it out for you.

Thanks for the referral. Black valve sleeve for the TPMS is 'BLACKSLEEVE2' it should come up as an optional accessory to the valve stem. As noted above, if you have any problem online feel free to call me.

It looks like the 328 uses the same sensors as the M3, so they should work. These fit most Beru sensors.

I just purchased TPM from Ben for my GTS wheels. I didn't know they had black ones. As I was buying them I thought to my self I wish I could get black ones because the silver ones are going to look out of place. It's to late now that everything is already mounted and balanced.

Website will be pretty futile for getting the sensors by themselves. If you pretend you are buying a wheel it would show them, but I think when you take the wheel out of the cart the sensors will go too.

Since the sensors are OEM parts, and have been hard to come by at times. When supply is tight, the sensors are only sold with wheels, so the website only ever sells them with wheels.

They are usually available for purchase separately by phone. They can be purchased separately at the current time.

Tire Rack Part Numbers That i used:

RDV1BLACK

or

RDV1GREY (for those looking for a gun metal-ish color

Fully compatible with our TPMS, includes new 'colored' stem, sleeve (nut) and metal cap.

Matched perfectly with my BBS CH-R's

Nice, I wonder if they have these for other cars. I hate the look of the silver ones on my black wheels.

I'm not an expert on this, but from my research online, these should fit beru and huf tpms sensors. Will not fit VDO sensors, as they have a proprietary valve stem. Look into who makes the factory tpms sensor and you should know if these will fit.
