Curious if you ever resolved the issue and what did to resolve it. Thanks. |

Hey s65cruz, not 100% resolved but much better after flushing out the fluid again, making to sure cycle the 50/50 mix 4 times. Handles the high temp much better for sure but does creep up just over halfway but again, handles it better by bringing it down quicker. Something I will do is swap out the expansion as I suspect it or maybe even the just the cap may be failing. |

Well that’s a promising step in the right direction. In terms of the fan coming on at idle. How is the result from the cycling of coolant? I’ve also been told to try replacing the ambient temp sensor. Which reads the temperature of the outside air, as well as contributes to the AC/Heater. Not 100% if this will have a affect on the issue. Have a new sensor coming and will just try that out. |

Hey brotha, just checking if you had any response for the fan still coming on at idle? I just replaced the ambient temp sensor and went for a drive. Noticed a small difference in terms of the fan. It still came on but much later than it was prior to the sensor swap. Just trying to resolve this annoying problem on my own before taking it to a shop. |
