I agree with above posts.
I am also wondering why there is no carbon fiber roof on the car. Also, a sunroof is not an option. I have already placed my deposit on a sedan for May 2008 and it was made clear to me that there is no sunroof. The car has been made to reduce weight and something about not putting a sunroof in carbon fiber. If these are photoshopped, the sure look good.

looks like BMW did a chop job, like taking a honda civic and putting a 240sx nose.
I would rather pick up a e36 4 door M3. This one doesn't look like a m3, more like a 335i with a sports package. Was hoping for more. The front definitely looks out of place.

Hummm...I'll have to wait for it in person. Looks very subdued. Not much torque either. It ashamed because I've been waiting a long time for an M3 sedan. I always preferred the sedans. Unfortuantely, I don't think this variant will help the cause.
I went to the MB dealer this weekend. I wanted to see the C63 AMG...but it's not out yet. |

Spoke w/dealer. Most likely the sedan will not have carbon fiber roof, no sunroof, and no SMG. Personally, I could live without the CB roof and sunroof, but I need the auto option since I live in my car and need a hand available for phone work.
The dealer said that they won't know what is coming for sure until early spring 2008 in the sedan. I am feeling a little let down at the moment. :sad0147:

Alpine325Ci,
Didn't you create an E90 M3 Sedan Photoshop prior to learning about the E92 front facelift similar to this one... I would love to see how it compares. Amazing how close this is to what was now just released. I really like your rear pshop even better than the real thing, much more aggressive IMO. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ight=photoshop

Sweet. I am hoping for this because I wont want a E92M3 (cop magnet) and the E90 is simply more practical.
I know there would be a DSG option in lieu of the SMG (the rumors has been swirling around for a while) so i will be willing to wait. I find it odd they would not include the sunroof. Surely if you are going to put two extra doors on the weight penalty for the sunroof wont be much, especially if it is already a steel roof and not CF. I will take it in white, Sparkling Graphite or that color right above the red (Black sapphire?)

I like how bmw put coupe headlights on the ///M Sedan/Saloon. This was a slick move to distinguish it from the standard E90.

I still like the old manly e90 shaped headlights over the feline e92 headlights.
The rear looks sick as ever. I'll take white or that Indy red looking color(the computer pic above doesn't look like the coupe red). Needs automatic factory tail spoiler. Need CF ROOF!
