Talk about good camber
If your stopped in the UK and have tyres worn down to the cords like yours, you get a £2,500 fine...per tyre. Google say's thats 3,953.50 US Dollars.

So mine are lasting at the most 13,000 miles.

Yep, camber looks perfect, but seems like you were running excessive pressures; they shouldn't wear from the middle first. If you notice, the middle is even depressed without air pressure. What pressures were you running? Curious.

Since this was a while back, I am not 100% sure. But I usually make sure all four are about 35 to 36psi when cold.

I got the same wear pattern on mine running the same pressures which is the recommended pressure based on the sticker on the door. I finally took my OEM PS2s off yesterday and they had 30,600 miles on them. The front were just at the wear bars and the rear looked somewhat like yours except not as much cord showing.

Anyone replaced with anything other than the PS2's? The Bridgestones are getting great reviews, they are $300 a set cheaper than the PS2's, and supposed to wear better. I'd love to get through the balance of my lease buying just one more set of tires, but am hoping to find someone with real world experience before I pull the trigger.

Well I changed wheels so now I'm on Vredestein 255/30/20 and 285/30/20. Feel great so far.

Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas are the bomb, expecially at the price. I like them as well as the PS2s, they have a higher wear rating, and are about 2/3 the price. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ght=Vredestein

I'm about 4500 miles, and the rears are ~ 50-60% gone...oh well, such is the price for a great handling car. Its about the same as my '08 997 S fronts, as exoected, look brand new

I got 26,257 on my first set. They weren't corded when I replaced them but they were below the wear bars so I replaced them before winter hit. That includes 4 track days and a bunch of launch control launches on that same OEM set of tires.

I love the PS2s.

I went through 2 sets of PS2s, replacing them at between 16,000 and 17,000 miles. I still have the second set, and they're not quite down to the wear bars, but the tread is thin and I don't want to run them in the rain. I'll wear them out at the racetrack and I'm thinking of repacing them with RE-11s for track use.

For street I'm running the Conti Extreme Contact DW. They're much quieter than the PS2sand have a nice ride. I haven't pushed them yet but they feel like they'll handle well. Biggest bonus is a treadwear rating of 340 vs. 220 for the PS2s.

I currently have approx. 32K on original sets of PS2s. I ordered Conti's DWS for winter that Tire Rack just about to send to me, they were on B/O for three months. The rears are down to just half of the wear bars left the fronts are 1/32" above the wear bars. I have another set of rims that I plan to put either PS2's or Conti's DW Extreme summer. With the prices for PS2 at $1245 and Conti's $840, I'm probably going to go with Conti. The extra fraction in performance does not warrant a 50% price bump.
