Wish I had read this earlier. I saw the 3M stick but didn't see any tape. I didn't know i could use it with the 3M tape I bought at the store. How's your's holding up? Mine's already pulling away from the bumper. I'm going to have to reinstall it.

Mines still all good!

Only thing i didn't do that i should have is used only 1 strip of tape on the right side like i did on the left instead of multiple pieces "pieces together to go around the curve. You can see "gaps" between the tape due to that which kind of bugs me. Idk why i did it differently but oh well

adhesion promoter is key to keeping these parts taped on. you can buy it in many forms, doesnt even have to be from 3m.

Try using gorilla glue adhesive tape plus the adhesive promoter. It's what I used and my GTS diffuser haven't budged a bit.

Thanks for the install tip. Is there any type of glue i might be able to just inject behind the CF diffuser to make it stick to the bumper so Indont have to remove and reinstall?

I did exactly what M3ANMACHINE said and used the adhesive promoter on the diffuser then added the gorilla tape. I also let it cure for about for about 24hrs before installing. Then I used adhesive promoter on the bumper before installing. Be advised, once you apply adhesive promoter, there's no turning back! Measure 100 times then apply if you get my drift!

Just recieved mine excellent quality, but I feel like I need to remove my exhaust to get it mounted. Did you all have any issues mounting with exhaust installed?

You should never have the need to remove the exhaust when installing a diffuser lol

I didn't have any issue with the install even with 90mm tips.

I know this is an old post but thank you for this detailed review, I've been doing alot of research on which front lip and rear diffuser to go with and this swayed me to try JL. Also, you're car looks great, very similar to what I'm trying to do with mine!
