studs are the way to go especially if you switch wheels very often as i do.

I just bought torque wrench for this reason, and for in between oil changes.
So if I want to make sure the wheels are torqued correctly, I loosen up the lugs and re-torque? All while car is on ground? Thanks

That sounds correct. Loosen and re-torque while on the ground.

You are not supposed to usea torque wrench to remove lugs.
