Ista _0xA0 Error

Just did my first ista d scan on the e92 m3 to clear some MRS error after a steering wheel install

The MRS error was successfully cleared , then it asked me to turn ignition off , I did that but Ista just stayed on the turn ignition off screen
Then I turned on ignition again

I’m not sure if this is what caused it , but now I’m seeing a _0xA0 error on the bottom left of Ista control unit screen
It doesn’t show any errors , there are nothing to clear

The error is for a device with serial number 907513752

Anyone come across this error before ? How do I troubleshoot this

Hmmm...I've seen this too when I've used ISTA on my car. I'm curious what it means exactly.

Other than that, you said there's no other fault codes. I wonder if ISTA will act different when the car is running as oppose to just KOEO.

Did you set the comport up correctly? Latency must be set to 1.

So are you suggesting it's something with the adapter?

I know on mine I have it set to 1ms. Let's see if the OP can confirm the same settings as well.

Maybe there wont be the error with an ICOM?

Maybe reinstall things and make sure all things are unzipped prior . The only other thing I can think of is the Edabas.ini file. I do have to change this if I use my KD-can cable or icom. When using icon the port is 6801 but that’s a default value per the install.

I don't think that matters. I've never been able to get it to work other than COM 1. But I'm sure the edibias ini files can be modified to get that to work.
