Denver / Colorado: Emissions question
Hey all, wanted to see if anybody had any experience yet with getting emissions tested with the updated regulations in Colorado...
I have a Akrapovic evolution system on my e92, and wasn't certain if it'll pass with it having the high flow secondary cat and just wanted to see if anybody else has a similar setup and what their results were in CO. Trying to gauge if I will need to go through the headache of changing the midpipe for a few weeks or not to get my emissions done next year. Cheers!

Now I just registered the car in Eagle county at family's place which doesn't do emissions.

Car has passed emissions in the past, but not with the current setup as I only did it last June. Very much wish I had it registered at my aunt's up in Estes so I too would be free of emissions issues...but here we are. lol

If you sell the car to a California buyer, they'll want to know if it passed smog of some kind.
If you sell it to me in South Dakota (nobody cares about smog), I'll want to know if it will pass smog so I can later sell it to someone in California. Basically, California has a lot of influence on emissions standards. Last edited by egebhardt; 03-06-2023 at 01:34 PM.. |
