I made an account just to comment on this thread. How does the Apex Arc 8's look on a stock e90 M3? Basically any setup that doesn't require spacers or camber plate. Do spacers provide a much superior look?

Hi there,

I would recommend checking out our E9X M3 fitment guide to get a better idea as to what different fitments we offer for that chassis. You can find the guide via the following link: https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide

At the top of the guide (below the first picture) there is a link that says "View all E9X M3 images". That link will take you to our Flickr account, where you can view all of our customer pictures of E9X M3s. You can also filter specifically for ARC-8s if that is the design you are looking to check out.

Most of our fitments for the E9X M3 chassis will not require spacers, and we have quite a few direct fit options in both square and staggered configurations for stock E9X M3's, as well.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Just got my EC-7s installed and loving them.

Had a hard time finding stock so ended up with:
18x9.5 with 275/35 front
18x10 with 285/35 rear 12mm spacers

Had these tires which were brand new so running them, realize kinda weird stagger

Rain pics are with 12mm in rear, other pics, no spacer

Lowered on swift springs, 90 mm stud kit. Non ZCP

Looking at a square set of apex wheels 18x10.5 et 22. Will this be an issue in the wheel well in front? I’m running nitron R1s. Any rubbing against the fender liners? Or coilovers? Thanks.

Just purchased a set of Ec-7's in 19x9.5 ET22 and 19x10.5 ET22 per Apex's recommended street performance/track fitment for 19".

After more research, it seems like this isn't too common of a setup. Even finding ps 4s's in 285 30-19 for the rear has been difficult to find.

I prefer the aesthetic look of a staggered setup and 19", and this car will be tracked, so I figured this was a good setup especially since it was recommend for track/street.

Am I missing something why this seems uncommon? And when I say "seems" uncommon this is just from me searching this forum and image searches to see what other people are running.

Note: Stock, non-comp suspension.

ARC 8s, 18x10 et 25, 275/35/18 PS4 tires, lowered on OHLINS...
Plan to run 12mm spacer in rear.

Is a 20mm spacer in the front too much?

That's my exact set up. No spacer in front for me tho. 10mil in the rear.

We're still on the hunt for photoshoot volunteers!

Paging BMW owners in the Bay area! If you're interested in free professional photos of your car on brand new APEX wheels, we are looking for volunteers for testfiitting and photoshoots! Volunteers will get copies of the photos, a discount on a future set of APEX wheels, and APEX goodies/swag.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete our online webform here. Show us what you've got!

If you'd like to take an inside look at what the photoshoots involve, our good friend Blake made a video detailing the process of an 18" photoshoot on his F82 M4 recently:

Another look at the process of shooting an E46 race car with our Creative Director Yo!

ApexRaceParts I checked the fitment guide and didn't see any mention of ET27, are there any fitment issues with EC7 18x10.5 ET27 on the rear? Going to be running 18x9?5 et 22 on the front. Will this work on an E93 M3? I am thinking on leaving suspension stock. What tires would work best in this config? Thanks.

ET27 was an older offset used on our ARC-8s and EC-7s. We've transitioned the new 18x10.5 wheels to ET22, so ET27 no longer features on the guides. Fundamentally that offset easily fits in the rear of the car if you are sourcing used wheels. 285/30-18 is our base tire recommendation, but you can also run 295/30-18 in most street tire models without rubbing. Wider 295s may require a bit of rear fender rolling/pulling or additional negative camber in the rear.

Awesome, thanks Tom. I was planning on doing the 265 front 285 rear setup. I did score some nice EC7s off the marketplace here that have the 27 offset, so glad to know it will work. Can't wait to get them on.

I will throw in my two cents here. I have experience running a 18x10.5 with a 285/30/18 and now I am running a 285/35/18 and am much happier. The 285/30 is just too "short" for my taste and actually causes the speedo to read 3-4 mph higher due to size. I would recommend a 285/35 for aesthetic purposes but, of course, that's your preference, either will work. Also you may want to run a spacer with the et27. I actually ran the Arc's with et27 and the 285/30 out back. I had a 15mm spacer that worked well. I currently run another 18x10.5 wheel et25 with a 7.5mm spacer with a 285/35 tire and it seems to be really nice. Again, it's all preference the et27 might work for your taste just fine without a spacer.
