Pretty sure I already did but I'm in on the group buy...I know it's still in the testing phase but any idea what the pricing might look like?

I think someone posted the FB info which is like 3k Euro

GB pricing is still TBD. I'm still going back and forth with the manufacturer

Karbonius completed their testing. The only thing pending is to install it on my car and get some dynojet numbers. I would have done this already but I'm waiting for my xpipe to arrive after my previous one suffered an untimely death
I'm told 2 weeks

Is the Karbonius a sticker on the top? I would rather have no sticker or the MPower intead.

All airboxes will come with the M Power logo as well as Karbonius. It cannot be pre-applied though

So you get to put on the logo...excellent. I choose the M Power logo.

Sorry for the delays everyone.

One car is waiting to have the engine removed to install new valve stem seals, the BW LT headers and Schrick cams.
The other is back to its stock Xpipe waiting for a new Xpipe to arrive so I can do a new baseline and then install the intake.

I'm told the new xpipe is 2 weeks out. Whenever I get it I'll complete the install and dyno. I'm at least as anxious as all of you to hear this thing!

Eventually we'll have two separate sets of results:
Car 1 with pulleys, Xpipe, OTS tune with and without airbox
Car 2 with pulleys, cams, LT headers, custom tune* with and without airbox.

I'm curious to see if the second car will show more of a delta, i.e., whether the stock airbox has been a limiting factor in FBO cars.

Both cars will use 93 octane fuel
Both have new spark plugs and new OEM air filters
All with be dyno'd in the same dynojet facility
Car 1's OTS tune is from a different company than Car 2's
Both tuners are unrelated to the dyno facility

The custom tune is needed as there are no OTS options for cams+headers+airbox. The car will be tuned with the big airbox and then dyno'd again with the stock one

Just curious, wouldn't it be better to use some generic aftermarket air filter just to make sure the airflow is not restricted by the oem paper one?
Also wanted to say I am sorry impressed by the thoroughness of this test you have planned. And this intake is insane. So is the price though :

There is a sound clip of a very similar setup on Facebook. It's absolutely intoxicating.
