Min camber needed for 265/35 on 9.5et22 (18")?

Hi, planning on running 265/35/18 up front on a common upsize wheelset - 9.5et22.

From some searching and reading, it seems common, so I'm pretty confident in proceeding, but what I never saw was any mention of people's camber setting.

Now, I know the E9x needs less than the E46, for example, but I'm hoping the -2 that I've acheived by simply pulling pins on the stock mounts (and I'm lowered 1") will be sufficient.

If not, I would then look at using the dinan plates to acheive another -.7 degrees. I am purposely avoiding camber plates.

As it stands, I rub ever so slightly with 255/35/19 on 9"et18, so that's why I'm a little concerned, but 255/35/19 is admittedly a little taller than stock, and 265/35/18 won't be as tall/buldgy. But 9.5et22 pokes out 2.25mm more than 9"et18. Hopefullyt he slightly more stretched/shorter 265 is less likely to rub.

Thanks for input, hopefully from those with 265s (fat ps4s) on 9.5et22 rather than what I'm already capable of which is just making guesses

I’m running -2 with KW Clubsports set to GTS ride height, +22 offset plus 5mm spacer to help give extra clearance for my spring perches. With DWS 06plus and PS4S I get slight rubbing especially at the passenger fender liner. Toward the back of the car. Each set of tires has about 5k miles on them. 265/35/18 on 9.5” wide T-S5 and Kansei KNP

265/35/19 will rub on the fender liner.

265/30/19 will be better as that's close to oem diameter.

plus the ps4 has a rim guard which makes fitment more atrocious.

I only care about 18", was only mentioning my 19" tires as comparison. Yes, I'm aware 255 & 265/35/19 are taller than stock, I said that in the OP. 265/35/18 isn't taller than stock (245/40/18), so I'm hoping, despite the aggressive width/offset, it doesn't rub with decent amount of neg camber.

Thanks Spammy, sounds like you probably wouldn't rub the outside if you didn't have those 5mm spacers? I know you might rub the strut on the inside, I'm just talking about outer tire to liner.

265/35/18 will be fine. ET22 on stock suspension. whether its max - camber or not.

aftermarket. 5-7mm required.

Actually without spacers I did rub slightly less than with the spacers but the extra clearance is the trade off. I’ll try to get a picture but it is pretty much what DrWankel detailed in one of his posts about common fender liner rub points. My car may be an outlier because of the mods, the outer edge of the tread is rubbing the rearmost swellings in the passenger fender liner mostly. Nothing on the sidewall is making contact.
