i'm pretty sure people will comment that i paid too much, especially for a 2008 pre-LCI etc. etc.
but it's hard to find a good clean e90 M3 (had to have 4 doors)
i checked out 2 lower priced cars locally and they didn't do it for me
this car is so clean and just felt right
flew one-way to SF and drove back to LA this past Saturday

Oh yes, that group is awful when it comes to putting a value on these cars. I posted my old car on there for ~$26k and was mocked. I listed it on here and sold it for $27k within a week. I wouldn't listen to anyone on there. Seems like half of the people in that group don't even own an M3 anyways.

Yup, not that the forum is much better :-)

We all mocked that slicktop E90 that sold here and got listed for $55k and it eventually sold.

The place I bought my E90 from just listed this Pre-LCI for $38k and they show sale pending and just posted another ZCP 6MT for $50k.

I posted an article on the FB group how used cars in general are up 15% average sales price YOY so that combined with the fact that certain specs are becoming harder to find unmolested all contributes to those trends.

Yes, car was in Norcal, it was about an hour from me.

I was just browsing on CL and see if I can find a slicktop M3 and I found one in the color I wanted my 335i in. I didn't waste any time and picked it up.

Pretty damn excited to be back in an M car! I owned a 6MT Carbon Black on Cinnamon e46 M3 and loved it. I really wanted to experience the DCT and so far I love it. Comp rims, PS4 tires, an oil change and new OEM floor mats are on deck. This summer I plan to do some major maintenance items like rod bearings, throttle actuators, and maybe a DCT fluid flush.

i love them
perfect mix of aesthetics (subjective but i like them), performance (forged and light weight), and price point (can find good deals on takeoff set if you keep an eye out)

i'm running 18mm spacers in the rear, nothing in front
i used to have spacers in the front as well but there was some vibration so i took it off

Very nice pickup. With a price like that ESP on a blue E90 you lucked out by getting there first. No time to waffle around on PPI's on a car like that, hopefully everything checks out.
