$1400 for Michelin Super Sports

Front: Match 245/35-19 front with 265/35-19 rear
Rear: Match 265/35-19 rear with 245/35-19 front

Does that seem expensive?

What's included in that price? Mounting & balancing? Lifetime rotation? Road hazard repairs/replacement?

Yes, very overpriced. That set is about $400 cheaper at Tirerack.

That's even more than I'd expect to pay including a TPMS replacement, M&B, and unlimited road hazard replacement.

I doubt I'll put another set of MPSS on my cars, they do many things well but nothing great, and they're more expensive than most alternatives.

I paid less for a set of much wider PS4S in 275/30 front, 295/30 rear; I would say the price you've been quoted is pretty much terrible.

That sounds like the price the local BMW dealership here in SF charges for PSS installed. (mount & balance included)

Tirerack.com charges $985 right now for the same set of tires, let's say about $100 in shipping (guessing), mount and balance at a high end shop with care $150. That'd be $1,235.

I paid less than that for a set of 19" PS4S's mounted and balanced. Definitely overpriced.

When you guys say 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 you all running wider wheels or they fit on stock wheels without any problem? is the ride harsh? I have ZCP wheels and need tires soon. I was recommended 255/35/19 front 275/35/19 rear.

I'm running 9.5x19 et 23 front, 10.5x19 et 23 rear.

The point I was trying to make though, was that I paid less for the PSS's successor in a larger size, which goes to show how expensive the quote he got for PSS was.

I paid around $1250 for those exact same sizes in PS4S from Costco. It included mounting and balancing, but I elected to have a local track-day race tire mounter mount and balance them for an additional $50 because I didn't want to risk Costco messing up the wheel finish.

I didn't do too bad. mine was just under $1300 shipped from tirebuyer.com then just under $100 for the mounting and road force balancing
