I got a camera with the slim connector to avoid this, but in another car, I just snipped the wire and reconnected it. Much better then stuffing the connector through and damaging existing wiring or the boot. |

You need to code out the cd changer. I used BimmerCode but there are others.

Stuck in bootloop/High Pitched ringing
Good morning everyone, I have a Japanese spec 06 e90 with CIC retrofit (still using CCC controller though). I just finished my install of the P2000, and the first time I use it after starting the car, it boots and works perfectly. The 2nd time and every time following, the iDrive goes into a boot loop with intermittent orange screen. If I break the MOST loop in the glovebox or in some way remove the P2000 from the system, then reconnect it, it begins working perfectly again (at least until turning the car off and on again). While it is in the bootloop, there is also a very high-pitched tone that plays. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Based on the symptoms, I wonder if there is something odd in the MOST loop from the retrofit that could be causing an issue with the P2000. The easiest way to would be to get a most loop bypass, and try eliminating the culprit on the loop device by device while trying to reproduce the issue. I would also recommend getting a CIC controller in there, as a CCC controller would be something unexpected. |

Hello,
I have a E92 CCC with PDC and MR12Volt P2000 and i want to install a rear camera. In this thread I have often read about that camera: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32885...apt=4itemAdapt "CVBS-AHD720P-170deg" Is this a good one, or can anyone recommend a better one? |

Curious if anyone's tried the new firmware update, bmwCIC_20240821. I've never experienced the "Fixed a background music random skipping bug" that it mentions, but curious if any other improvements are noticed before I go crawling into my passenger footwell and try to feel and seek the SD card slot again. My placement is secured enough that its a b*tch to take the unit down. Was hoping that USB firmware update actually worked.

Wanted to confirm, if I have an E92 M3 6-Speed Manual with no PDC, I just follow the instructions here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...05&postcount=6 to wire up the backup camera right? All I would need to do is run the yellow RCA up to the front of the car to the Mr12Volt unit and it should just work? Or would I need to change any other settings?
